I carefully read all of them and the scripture reference and I learned so much. Thxxxx for sharing
Oh My God, i'm constantly blessed by your blog! Thank you so much for you godly words!!!
#2 is so true, and what I see most of in people I know. If #2 is going on, all the discipline in the world won't help them.
Thanks for another fantastic post!
Ugh. So basically any failure on my part as a parent will lead to my child's sinfulness. Oh, no, wait...they were born that way.
I cannot say how much this blessed me! Parts of it were hard to read because I recall very specific times I did those things. I'm so thankful for a God that convicts and forgives because I need both concerning these issues!
This is absolutely wonderful advice! Thanks for sharing!
this just makes me not want to have kids.
So...pay attention to them but not too much, talk to them but not all the time, give them the "perfect" amount of freedom (too much or too little and you're a failure), don't discipline, no scolding, don't lay a hand on them but "spare the rod, spoil the child"...great advice! No conflicting messages at all!
How about just using common sense?! Or is that too secular for you?
Not to be ugly but using a little common sense when readin the post would work wonders as well.
Thank you for this blog post! Def something to keep in mind.
Thank you for sharing. I am reminded what a sinner I am, and how, without the grace of God working in my life, my efforts would all be in vain. I am so glad that God works with and blesses my efforts when they are manifested from a heart that seeks His kingdom first. What a good reminder. Thank you so much. I will be studying these texts in my quiet time. :-)
Most of that is common sense, the problem is - a lot of people don't HAVE it, or just plain ol' don't practice it!
Thank you for the post, both my hubby and I grew up in great, godly homes (my gpa was a pastor, and my husbands dad is a pastor, haha!), so none of this was new or shocking news for me, but it's always a good thing to be reminded of, and always good to evaluate your child rearing methods! <3
